By accessing or using GetCAP ("the Service"), available at getcap.sciencegear.tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes by posting updates on this page.

GetCAP is an educational tool that provides college admission predictions for MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) aspirants based on historical cutoff data from years 2022 through 2025. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• College prediction based on rank, percentile, category, and other inputs
• College search and comparison tools
• Branch information and career guidance
• AI-powered counseling (CAP Saathi)
• Option form assistance and CAP round guides
• Scholarship information and admission timeline tracking
• Career quizzes and additional tools

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

This is the most important section of these Terms.

• All college predictions generated by GetCAP are estimates based on historical data and should be treated as indicative guidance only. They are not guarantees of admission.
• Actual cutoffs for 2026 may vary significantly from past years due to changes in seat matrix, exam difficulty, candidate preferences, and policies of DTE Maharashtra.
• GetCAP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, State CET Cell, or any government body.
• We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of predictions. Users should use predictions as one of many factors in their admission decisions.

For official admission information, always refer to the official DTE Maharashtra website and notifications.

By using GetCAP, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when using prediction tools and forms
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or algorithms used by the Service
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Not misrepresent the predictions as official admission offers or guarantees
• Not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its data without written permission
• Understand that predictions are for educational and informational purposes only

Violation of these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.

All content, features, and functionality of GetCAP — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, algorithms, data compilations, software, and the overall design — are the exclusive property of GetCAP or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• Our prediction algorithm and data analysis methodology are proprietary and confidential.
• The "GetCAP" name and logo are trademarks of GetCAP. You may not use them without prior written consent.
• Historical admission data used is sourced from publicly available DTE Maharashtra allotment results and is used under fair use for educational purposes.
• You may share individual prediction results for personal, non-commercial use, but may not scrape, extract, or redistribute our data in bulk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GetCAP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of opportunities, admission chances, or educational benefits
• Emotional distress arising from prediction results
• Decisions made based on inaccurate or incomplete predictions
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in predictions or content
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Interruption or cessation of the Service

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The free tier of our Service is provided at no cost, and liability for free-tier users is limited to the extent permissible by law.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

• For material changes, we may notify registered users via email or through a prominent notice on the website
• Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms
• If you disagree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the Service and contact us at getcap@sciencegear.tech

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

• Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India
• If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
• Failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right
