Myself Pranay Tanpure, and I am currently pursuing Information Technology at the Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT). I faced the struggle of MHT-CET CAP rounds firsthand during the 2025 session. While I had a 99.5 percentile, which made choosing a college relatively straightforward for me, my friend had a lower percentile. Choosing a college and making an option form for me was easy, but it wasn't good for him, so we decided to try something new, and I started working on this idea.

The existing predictors out there are highly restrictive—they only show a few results, hide the rest behind a paywall, and aggressively collect personal details like parents' information. We built GetCAP to solve this and give everyone a completely free college predictor so every student can get the best possible college based on their actual rank, without paywalls or privacy concerns.
